When I was your age.....

....Pluto was a planet!!!

I look forward to saying that loud and proud in the streets of society. Or perhaps outside of a NASA lab or JPL lab.....

Anyways, I'll be taking my first ACT tomorrow. I think it stands for ACT like you know this crap.... HAHAHAHA......Nervous much? Last week I partook of the infamous SAT. It wasn't horrible. But it wasn't pleasant either. It had been about 2 hours and we were on Section 5, and I was relieved because I thought it was aaaaaaall over. Much to my dismay I flipped my answer sheet over only to discover FIVE MORE SECTIONS...... -___-

Does anyone else think that the test demands a ridiculous amount or work from the test-ee in an unfathomable amount of time???? I couldn't even finish the math section, and I left a lot of answers blank. I was so bummed.

Wish me luck for a better experience tomorrow.....

I'm So Confused!

Ok ok, so my fingers weren't tired when I finished my last post, but iI was bored.

Anyways.

I have a question:

How the heck do I change the look of my blog???? I tried uploading skins from different sites, but it won't let me. :( I hate the templates they give you as a starter. SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!

The Post Long Overdue

Well well it appears I have an audience! To be honest I haven't even given this blog even the slightest thought in my mind; school has been taking over much of it lately. Just to update all of you about my schedule, here's a lovely list:

1st Period: AP Composition
2nd Period: French 3
3rd Period: AP Biology (devil's class)
4th Period: U.S. History
5th Period: Chamber Singers
6th Period: PreCalculus

Yep. Thar she be. I have no fun time, since each teacher seems to think their class has utmost priority and assigns ridiculous, unnecessary amounts of homework. So, weekends have become even more near and dear to my heart than before, if that's even possible. And it is. After several mental/emotional breakdowns, I feel I've settled somewhat into the throes of Junior Year. Assessment so far: It SUCKS.

On a slightly happier/more frightening note, my driving is coming along quite nicely. I've reduced the number of "incidents" down to once every week. Of course, there manages to be more "incidents" when I'm driving with mom........hmmmm........

ANYWAYS, I am bored now, and do not wish to exert my fingers in the exhausting act of typing any longer, so I shall retire for now.

Ghetto!

SO.
Today's events took a rather stressful turn as I was with Steph and Natalie driving through the seedy ghettos of Pomona.
-*Note to anyone with a navigational system that has an "Areas to Avoid" section: Put Pomona as
one of those areas.*

Why?

Well. As we were cruising down Garey, looking slightly appalled at the faded buildings with haphazardly boarded up windows and sketchy citizens roaming about, we saw, as Natalie so delicately puts it, a Domestic Dispute! We were waiting at a signal, listening to Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat play merrily in the background, when we see this car just past the signal back out partway into the road. So we're all thinking, oh, no big deal. It's probably someone just having a little trouble getting into a driveway. WRONG. As the light changed and we got closer, there was a lady in the car totally cussing out this guy standing outside in front of the car. We see them exchange words, and then the lady guns her car and totally hits the guy. At that point, us sheltered white kids were cowering in the car frantically looking around to see what other drama was about to ensue. So I turn around in the back seat to see the guy get back up and see the lady prepare to run him down again. At that point we were all freaked out and we were all discussing the descriptions of the car and the man and woman in case we had to call the cops. Meanwhile Natalie was shouting, "DOMESTIC DISPUTE, DOMESTIC DISPUTE!" So then after we were a good two blocks away, Steph was still freaking out about the lady and asked me whether or not she was following us. And since we were a good distance away, I couldn't see any car pursuing us so then we calmed down, but we were still a little on edge, ready for more action.

Pretty exciting, no?

Our first ghetto moment. Ah. The memories.

The dawn of a new blog....

Well lookie here! I was feelin' a little left out of the blogging circle so I thought to myself, "What the hey! I'll just make myself one of them fancy blogs!" Thus, You're All Retarded was born.

So, now what....?
